The Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord

The Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord is the fifth of the five Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary, prayed on Tuesdays and Fridays.

And when they were come to the place which is called Calvary, they crucified him there; and the robbers, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. And Jesus said: Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. But they, dividing his garments, cast lots. … And Jesus crying out with a loud voice, said: Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. And saying this, he gave up the ghost.

Luke 23:33-34, 23:46 (Douay-Rheims)
