The Scourging at the Pillar

The Scourging at the Pillar is the second of the five Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary, prayed on Tuesdays and Fridays.

And so Pilate being willing to satisfy the people, released to them Barabbas, and delivered up Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
